Where Did Women Come From?
Venus right?

According to the Bible Eve the first woman to ever exist was created from Adams rib in the book of Genesis. Any person outside the Christian/Catholic religion would look at the women are made from a rib statement and laugh, yet approximately 2 billion people hold this belief to be true and millions within those 2 billion have never read the Bible or even given their faith much thought. These false statements cannot be encouraged in our society, they are the equivalent of teaching lies, and fairy tales to be fact to children who do not know a single fact about the universe.
Men and women are still part of the human race, and as mammals we are sexual beings who feel the urge to have sex due to our natural instincts to keep the species alive. We could have evolved asexually like certain insects without the need to have sex with a partner to reproduce and that would have seemed normal within our society because we would not have been able to compare. The fact is that we are not asexual beings, our mind does not think asexually, and we look for mates as we get older because of our need to reproduce. Sex feels good for a reason because we need it to keep the species alive, and aside from reproducing purposes it is really fun!
(There is absolutely no evidence which points towards the biblical belief that women came from the rib of man)

Mmmm...Ribs
(If women come from the rib of man, then each and every woman would have to be built from the rib of a man, but of course we know it does not work like that)
According to evolution which is supported by over 97% of todays earth and life scientists humans were not the first beings to exist on earth although the Bible says otherwise. We evolved from a common ancestor of monkeys and our common ancestor evolved from a species which originally lived under water. All life originated underwater before it came up to land. The original species which we evolved from most likely reproduced asexually and at some point throughout its evolution in order to secure life on land split to create a counterpart which would be necessary to reproduce. The possibilities are almost endless on how women our reproductive counterpart came to be, but just because we do not understand precisely how it happened does not mean we should give the credit to an imaginary God or the rib of a man. If anything the same could be said about men; where did men come from? Did we come from the liver of a woman? Technically man had to come from a woman right? We can ask all the questions we want, but the lack of knowledge or precision in that area does not make a fairy tale true.
The fact is men need women, and women need men equally to reproduce.

(All life on earth began underwater, our bodies are 70% water just like mother Earth)
Perhaps someday we will better understand the origins of life, but for now thanks to evolution we have a much better understanding. The beauty of evolution is that it does not stop and we continue to evolve in order to make sure our species more adaptable to its surroundings and to ensure the survival of future generations. The world is about to go through an evolution of thought which will usher in a new age.
