Who Made God?

Who made God is a two part question because you have to examine the two questions it really asks which are:

1) If God does exist then who created his being?

2) Who first came up with the idea of God? Since a single monotheistic God does not exist, and none of the religions which exist and have existed are correct

Everything must have a source is the argument most theists use to defend their God. The question Non-Believers must ask is "Who made that source"? If God did exist then who made that being? This proves that a single God cannot exist since that God must have a source and that source must have a source and so on. For example ConEdison is a source of electricity for a large part of the United States, but that company has to have a source which is the people who created it, and those people must have sources as well.

                                                                                                                            (Encourage Logic)

God could not have created himself because self-creation requires existing before you exist which is meaningless. Logically none of it makes any sense, if there was a time in which nothing existed nothing would exist now. Since something does exist now that means there was never a time when nothing existed. There always was a time when something existed meaning God could not have created it.

Who first came up with the idea of God?

The new monotheistic view of a single God was made up in the image of man. The idea of God arose from the fact that we revolve around a single sun which provides a factor for life to produce on Earth. The first civilizations which were established around the Mesopotamian river (not the garden of eden) most likely looked up at the sky and saw our sun which provided light and heat for life to survive. Without science, or mathematics of any kind these people began to turn to fairy tales or what we know as mythology to try and explain the universe around them. They would refer to the sun as the highest power and create stories around it, they did the same with the moon. For example Ancient Egyptians had a sun god who supposedly did battle every evening and morning which they used to explain why our sky shifts from day to night.
