Apocalyptic Literature: They Predicted the Fall of their Religions (Lies)/ And The Rise of Atheism
The Rapture will never occur
Why would a perfect loving God design such a cruel game for his/her "children"?

The writers of apocalyptic literature knew that the world will eventually come to its end someday, and used this knowledge to create a fictional religious story to the end of our human race. Every generation believes that they are the last one according to biblical apocalyptic prophecy, and as the years go by from the ancient romans to present day nothing has happened. Apocalyptic literature is nothing more than a fake promise which will never occur, always set in the soon to be or near future, but it never actually gets "there". The book of Revelation from the Bible is very symbolic just like the rest of the bible and it can be interpreted in many countless ways, which is why there are so many different views and books about how end times will play out. The notion that God or Jesus has the power to defeat evil, but will wait for the last minute when the entire world is already torn apart, bloody, and destroyed is just plain ridiculous and/or crazy.
St. John the writer of the book of revelations was a crazy man who was sadly stranded on the island of Patmos due to the persecution of Christians at his time. How can we in our day and age believe such nonsense coming from an isolated mad man with no knowledge of science.
The rapture is never mentioned in the Bible the word was made up by a theologian professor after studied the bible and interpreting verses which he believed meant a rapture will occur. The idea that a rapture in which all Christians in the world are brought up to heaven in the blink of an eye while everyone (the majority of the world) is left to suffer a bloody, painful tribulation brought about by God himself completely contradicts the idea of a peaceful, loving God who cares about all of his "children".
The truth is the rapture is another fake lie and/or misinterpretation of the very symbolic biblical literature which will never occur and in part was made to keep people bound to their religion using fear.
The book of Revelation is just as scary as the idea of a religious hell, and it is all used to keep people from thinking for themselves. Let us not forget that back when the bible was written it was also used by royalty to gain power by claiming divine right. We now know nowadays that there is no such thing as divine right, and would never let someone rise to power because they claimed to be descended from God.
(The idea of a rapture only exists inside the heads of 2 billion Catholics/Christians)

The writers of apocalyptic literature most likely predicted the fall of their religions (lies) because they witnessed the fall of religions which existed in their time. It is very possible that the writers of religious text wanted power, or to be remembered through some medium. The good news is that in our day and age we can let go of religious belief, and most importantly let go of the idea that a religious/apocalyptic/revelations end time will ever occur here on our pale blue dot earth.
