Paranormal Activity Debunked

Any Non-Believer (Atheist, Agnostic, Freethinker, Secular Humanist) can tell you that they do not believe in ghosts, phantoms, spirits, or paranormal activity. Most Non-Believers are Ex-theists who used to believe in God, and the supernatural. These Ex-theists can also tell you that they most likely were witness to the sightings of what they would call ghosts, spirits, phantoms, or the paranormal, but once they realized that it was all just in their heads and became Non-Believers these sightings stopped occurring.

Our imaginations the same ones which create our dreams/nightmares when we sleep also play with our mind and senses when we are awake. For example religious people are known to be very superstitious people who believe evil spirits from hell are here on earth. If a religious person hears a sound which they cannot identify their minds will most likely associate it to be a ghost or spirit because they truly believe that ghosts and spirits exist. On the other hand if a Non-Believer hears a sound which they cannot identify his or her mind will not associate it with a ghost or spirit because that person does not believe they exist.

As for sightings of paranormal activity once again the human imagination comes into play, a theist who believes in the paranormal may see an unexpected reflection of light and immediately associate it with a ghost due to their fixed belief. Many people claim to have seen ghosts and have written books about it which have become Hollywood blockbusters, but it is very possible that these stories are made up for the sake of making a very nice profit which they most likely calculated beforehand.

Encouragement also comes into play in these stories of the paranormal because when superstitious people are in a group and one person claims to have spotted something everyone else tends to act along with their beliefs and imagination. People tend to have a natural fear of the unknown and the same is true for the beliefs people have about ghosts and spirits. The second the mind of a theist associates a sound or sighting with it being a ghost that person will most likely hype the fear up in their mind and try to run from what they believe is the paranormal; in that instant they have just created a ghost story.

The message here is ghosts/spirits/phantoms/paranormal activity does not exist.
