Nightmares, Mental Disorders, Belief in Hell Causes People to Act Possessed

People from all different types of religions use the exorcism argument to defend their beliefs in a deity and hell. Everyone has heard of cases where people act as if they are possessed by a ghost or demon spirit. These cases are recorded and the people who witness these very few events most likely feel reassured that their religion is correct, and that an evil force from hell must be possessing the body of the person acting wild, throwing up, cursing, yelling, and doing obscene actions. 

There is a rational explanation as to why these people are throwing such a ridiculous tantrum and it has nothing to do with demon spirits from hell:

-Nightmares

-Mental disorders

-Belief in Hell

-Combination of the above 3   

Nightmares

It is safe to say that we have all experienced a nightmare or two. Many of these exorcism cases happen to young children and a reason for this is because they have been traumatized by nightmares. Nightmares mixed with the belief in hell can trigger a type of psychosis depending in a person. If a person believes in demon spirits from hell and feels traumatized by nightmares then he or she may become consumed with the belief that he or she is being possessed by a demon spirit and this can lead to a psychotic episode in which the person acts irrationally, vomits, curses, spits, yells, and acts how they believe a demon would act. Nightmares affect everyone differently and some minds are not as strong or brave as others.

Mental Disorder

Disorders of the mind can lead a person to act as if they are possessed by demon spirits if they believe in that. People with mental disorders are prone to all types of abnormal behavior, and if you are acting like a fool yelling, screaming, cursing, basically throwing a tantrum like a kid then you have some type of mental disability which needs to be checked.

Belief in Hell

This is the main cause for people who act as if they are possessed by demons. People who believe in hell are extremely prone to one day acting as if they are possessed by an evil force from hell. If for whatever reason you believe you are becoming possessed your imagination will run wild and take over your behavior. People who are possessed are basically living a nightmare within their minds, the same mind which produces their dreams at night.
