Evolution is just a theory with MUCH more evidence than the single claim that God created everything in existence. First of all in order for an idea to become scientific theory in society it must be examined and tested hundreds of times all over the world. There is absolutely no proof or evidence behind creationism or as many call it intelligent design.
Many Theists laugh at the thought of evolving from monkeys, and argue that we could not have evolved from monkeys since they still exist. What many theists do not understand is that Darwin never stated that we come from monkeys.
Darwin stated that we come from a common ancestor of monkeys (apes), not monkeys themselves.
Genesis the first book of the Judeo Christian Bible claims that God created Adam and Eve the first two human beings, but if you truly examine this claim it is utterly and completely FLAWD.
How can so many different cultures, religions, races, skin colors, languages, come out of just two human beings with very similar physical characteristics? The story of Adam and Eve makes absolutely no sense and is the most famous fairy tale known to humanity.
The story of Adam and Eve belittles people by claiming we are doomed due to Original Sin and that we are bad people and need to repent. Children not even a year old are baptized by tradition because of there "disgusting human nature" according to the Bible. A child is a being full of innocence which can do no harm, how can we as a society believe that if he or she is not baptized that child will go to hell if he/she dies before its baptism. We need to take a look at the priests within the Catholic Church who are robbing children of their innocence through sexual abuse.
The claim that angers most Non-Believers is that the earth came into existence approximately 6,000 years ago. Most theists believe that the earth came into existence approximately 6,000 years ago because it is what the Bible states. This claim is outrageous, has no evidence whatsoever, and is scientifically invalid.
How can the earth have come into existence 6,000 years ago along with man?
Theists seem to forget the existence of dinosaurs who dominated the earth before us over 250 million years ago!
However, sufficient evidence exists in support of evolution to convince 99.85% of America's earth and life scientists that the theory is valid. Evolution is the key unifying theory that unifies many different branches of science, from cosmology to biology.
According to the scientific community the Earth is 4.55 Billion years old not 6,000 years old.
