     Natural Disasters, Wars, and Rumors of Wars Have Always Existed

These are not signs of end times

 
  

Many people who read and study end times prophecies from religious text argue that in the current day and age we live in we are seeing signs of the end of the world which to them are natural disasters, wars, and rumors of wars. The truth of the matter is natural disasters have occurred since the formation of earth approximately 4 billion years ago. Theists argue that there has been an increase in the number of natural disasters within the last 100 years, but what has really occurred is not an increase in the number of natural disasters instead what has occurred is a huge increase in the reporting of natural disasters on a global scale. Let us not forget that the television was introduced into the market about 60 years ago, and the internet about 30+ years ago. We did not have the ability to report every single natural disaster on our pale blue dot earth until the television and internet were invented and made public. Natural disasters such as hurricanes like Katrina which devastated New Orleans, the Tsunami which killed over 150,000 people in Indonesia, and the New York (East coast) black out of 2003 which paralyzed society have always occurred and will continue to occur there is no way we can stop them, the good news is that we are more technologically advanced and can predict these disasters, and take action.

Natural disasters are unfortunate, but prove that even though some things may seem perfect our planet and society is far from perfect showing that there cannot be a perfect creator (god).

Why would a perfect god create an imperfect world? 

 

 

 

Wars are a product of mankind and have existed since almost the dawn of man. Whether wars were caused my egotistical men such as Alexander the Great, or Napoleon Bonaparte who simply wished to conquer the world by shedding rivers of blood, or crusaders who spread the word of the prophet Jesus doing exactly what Jesus would have done committing mass murders of countless people and raping helpless women, or by brave colonial revolutionists who stood up for their rights against the unfair British. Today we are witnessing a holy war or Ji'had (What  the prophet Mohammad would have done) as the radical islamics call it and due to the inventions of the television and the internet the public is much more aware of the horrors of war. There has not been an increase in war since wars have always existed, but there has been a huge increase in the reportings of war.

John Lennon said it best:

"Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too"

"A brotherhood of man" 

(Religion has caused most wars throughout history)

 

 

 

Rumors of war have always existed as well, because with conflict comes predictions. As long as there is war and tension people will talk amongst themselves and make predictions about future wars depending on the situation. Once again these are not signs of end times since they have always occurred and will most likely continue to occur for a long time.

Without religion we would decrease the chances of war, and increase the chances for world peace. Let's break the strongest barrier society places between themselves by not indoctrinating our children into any religion, and by breaking the spell religion has put over society. The world would be a much better place without religion.
