What is dark matter?
According to Wikipedia:
In astronomy and cosmology, dark matter is matter that is inferred to exist from gravitational effects on visible matter and background radiation, but is undetectable by emitted or scattered electromagnetic radiation.[1] Its existence was hypothesized to account for discrepancies between measurements of the mass of galaxies, clusters of galaxies and the entire universe made through dynamical and general relativistic means, and measurements based on the mass of the visible "luminous" matter these objects contain: stars and the gas and dust of the interstellar and intergalactic media.
The new theist dark matter argument
Non-Believers claim that god does not exist because we cannot see him, but they believe in science and scientists say dark matter exists yet they cannot see it with their own eyes.
(Dark matter does not listen to our prayers, nobody does as a matter of fact)
Dark matter and the belief in God are completely different from each other and cannot be compared side by side. Although dark matter is not visible to the human eye by theory it exists due to gravitational effects on visible matter. There is much more scientific evidence supporting the existence of dark matter compared to the simple primitive claims of gods existence. Scientists are not claiming that dark matter created existence, they are not claiming that it requires you to believe in it or else you will burn in hell, they are not claiming it requires you to attend mass, read any holy books, or pray to it. God and dark matter cannot be compared side by side.
(The universe is not "out there" we make up part of the universe, we are the universe. Since we have the ability to think about the universe we are its conscience making it aware of itself.)
