Churches/Temples: The Wrong Teaching Institutions, But Excellent For Non-Religious Weddings Churches and Temples used for religious rituals, presentations, shows, prayer, and lessons about religious text are beautiful buildings which are valuable for tourist attractions, and wedding ceremonies, not for teaching fiction as truth. The problem with churches and temples is that they are the wrong teaching institutions for all human beings, especially children. Churches are teaching religious fiction as truth to children such as the book of Genesis trying to explain human existence, a matter which should be left up to the science community, not religious preachers. The Churches of Christianity and Islam are scaring children into believing that if they do not follow the teachings of their religious texts they will suffer in the afterlife in an eternal hell fire. The article is not suggesting that we get rid of these buildings, but instead use them only for historic tourist attractions, and non-religious wedding ceremonies, but absolutely not for teaching fiction to children as truth. Churches are playing a huge role in the indoctrination of children into religion by using fear tactics, and the impression of adults with divine right on childrens memories. If we continue using churches and temples as teaching institutions, we are continuing to skew the thinking and perception of children throughout their life and we are continuing the division of human beings in society.
