     Astrology Debunked

According to astrology the movement of the planets and stars are suppose to signify petty developments in ones career or love life. Astrology is just another example of the human race demonstrating its arrogance by placing themselves at the center of the universe.

Astrology began in the 2nd century A.D and was created by Claudius Ptolemy and it has had absolutely no progress in the 2,000 years it has existed despite the discovery of new planets, stars, and galaxies. The earth has wobbled 23 degrees since then and astrologers are now thrown off one entire sign because of it. For example back when astrology was created over 2,000 years ago if you were a Leo on your birthday the sun would rise in the constellation Leo, but the earth has wobbled a significant amount since then throwing astrologers off. Nowadays if you are a Leo the sun no longer rises in the constellation Leo instead it now rises in the constellation Virgo. As you can see astrology is as old and outdated as mythology.

People check their horoscopes on an almost daily basis to read the predictions magazine, and newspaper companies have to offer, but in reality if you check them out they are not predictions at all instead they are telling you what to do, and are so vague that they can apply to anybody.

Each sign of the horoscope supposedly has personality traits attached to them. People use horoscopes to create the illusion that we understand each other. It would be nice to have a system in which we could understand one another and somehow know each others personality by simply saying our birthday. The personality traits that each horoscope states it has tend to be different depending on the medium you are receiving it, and once again are so vague that they can apply to everyone. Some examples of these traits are good natured, caring, confident, shy, stubborn, social, talkative, selfish, generous, demanding, etc; it seems that everyone has a bit of these traits at different points in their lives.
